Burrito is gigantic.
Super fries are good but don't prefer the cheese as it can be a little too liquidy. Had it with al pastor but wasn't as good as the carne asada.
The super flour quesadilla was also DANK.
Service was nice :-). For the price point, size, and flavor? A no brainer!!

I got the super flour quesadilla uber eats and bought the verde salsa just in case they forgot to include the sauces but was pleased that all the sauces were included like the orange sauce, green, and pico de gallo!! They really make the awesome combo of the meal!!
My carne asada super flour quesadilla was still warm and it was pretty delicious. Downed the whole thing. I've had bad experiences with a few orders awhile back but happy that this one worked out! :)
A good late night place to get some Mexican food! Can't go wrong with a carne asada burrito and nachos with a Mexican Coke and the infamous orange sauce for a good kick. The only downside was the wait for food, there were a lot of people (esp from the bars) but not so bad that I had to wait for a table.
La Victoria or better known as La Vic's, is a Bay Area staple for Mexican food. Coming here always hits the spot and when you have that craving for some good food, La Vic's has you covered. I've only had the Super Fries (ask them about it) and the Super Burrito, and I think the burrito is a little better. Super Fries/Carne Asada fries in San Diego will always reign supreme. Always ask for their famous orange sauce as that siginificantly boosts the flavor of the burrito. I'd say as a standalone burrito it's a 3.5/5, but that orange sauce takes it into the 4/5 category. Spicy and rich with flavor, the burrito+orange combo is divine.
This location is right next to San Pedro Square so it's bound to draw-in some of the late-night crowds post-drinking so just know that there are other locations since this one is hard to get in and out of quickly.

The carne asada super taco here was SO good! One of the best I ever had. I'm not going to lie - I had always heard about La Victoria as THE spot to get tacos or burritos in downtown San Jose. I had never actually been here, but on Saturday night, I was walking through downtown (kind of tired of San Pedro Square). Being the person who is always early anywhere I go (*sigh*), I arrived 20 minutes early before I had to meet up with my friend at 6 pm. Anyhow, I was hungry... walked by... noticed a few people eating, and decided to give it a try. WOW!! La Victoria did not disappoint. The carne asada was so tender, the super taco was made fresh upon order, the cashier was super nice. And I got a nice seat by the window so people watching was fun. I will definitely be back! Now that I know about their famous orange sauce, I will add it next time. And I want to try their carne asada fries. DELICIOUS!
